Public Works Tree Trimming
The functions of this division include:
- Trimming and removal of parkway and park trees
- Trimming of palm trees (by contract)
- Keeping the city's rights of way clear of private trees and landscaping
The City of La Mesa has been designated as a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation since 1980.
