PICKLEBALL
Pickleball can be played either on a tennis or badminton court with the net at 34 inches in the center. It is played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and a wood or graphite paddle. Pickleball is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.
Originally created in Washington in the 1960s and named for the creator's dog, "Pickles", according to the USA Pickleball Association, it is now played all over the country. To learn more about pickleball, visit the USA Pickleball Association's website at www.usapickleball.org
